Special Education Attorney
As a special education attorney, Andrew Meltzer — a classified student who conquered his learning differences — helps special needs students attain the success in school and life they are capable of through his advocacy.
While clerking in the Education Section of the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, Mr. Meltzer built up a working knowledge of the special education legal framework and the practices of the Office of Administrative Law. He also prosecuted nearly twenty trials as a Certified Legal Intern for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Meltzer graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in history and political science. He earned his J.D. from Drexel University, Thomas R. Kline School of Law. Upon completion of his education, he was admitted to the bars of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the District of New Jersey.
Mr. Meltzer knows on a deeply personal level the challenges families of children with special needs encounter. His unique personal and professional experiences in special education law make him a natural and effective advocate for his clients.
