October is Learning Disabilities and Dyslexia Awareness Month
Like people, learning disabilities come in all shapes and sizes. During the month of October each year, the Learning Disabilities Association of America shines a much-needed spotlight on the variety of learning disabilities facing countless adults and children throughout the United States. Often, people hear the term “learning disability” and dyslexia and ADD/ADHD come to mind. Dyslexia Is one learning disability that affects how a person learns to read and impacts their ability to process language.
